Other than no appendage of RB's on the turf and the ball on the pylon, he is right.

I would be bitter also had we lost the game. But I'm sick of hearing about how the Vikings gave the game away, etc. etc.

First off, the Reggie Bush TD, was in fact a TD.

Second off, things are still foggy for me because today has been so crazy, but I only recall one turnover that we didn't force and that was Adrian Peterson's fumble after the horrible Bush Muff.

You can go back and forth on this all day. People always choose to look at the injustices suffered by the losing team, or how they "gave the game away". On the second Vikings TD drive, the Saints basically gave up that touchdown with penalties which allowed the Vikings to continue driving.

You can point out things all day long, but the fact is, attacking and stripping Adrian "butterfingers" Peterson was part of our gameplan and we forced the turnovers. Doesn't he lead the league in fumbles? At least for running backs? shite, If I'm about to play a team that has a running back with the same characteristics as him, I'm sure as shite going to try to make him fumble multiple times.

And of course there's the thing about the Saints being the "25th ranked defense" which I just heard on ESPN. As far as I know, that takes into account yards given up per game. We have forced turnovers like no tomorrow. That HAS to factor in somewhere. The disrespect is awful, but bring it.

I for one am glad that we are about to face the Vikings without the beast defense, AKA the Colts.

Meh, the refs made up the late hit call for sure. Biggest crock of shite I've seen in a while. The ref with the grey buzz cut kept the vikes in the game.

What really chapped my arse, was the drive where Brett Favre got decked twice. The first hit was called a personal foul when the Saints defender had already hit him prior to him throwing the ball. The second hit wasn't made until after Favre threw the ball and that wasn't a personal foul?

Make up call or just horribly inconsistent Refs.

And yeah, whether the refs made up that call or not, the fact still stands, that the Saints shot themselves in the foot also. It's just not looked at because the Saints won the game, and certain people will just talk about how the Vikings blew things.

Just about every flag thrown against the saints was either a bad call or borderline. One play in particular, the holding call against blue gay, he completely legally jammed the reciever and the reciever fought back after that. Should have been offensive holding if anything. National radio broadcast made it seem like gay was riding him the entire time.

So, the fact that teh ball was in the air and Gay had a handful of Harvin's jersey, obviously pulling his jersey means nothing?

I didn't see the pull of the jersey. But it didn't matter if he held him after the ball was in the air. The call was holding, not pass interference. And after the initial jam, the majority of contact was by the offensive player, not gay.

To say that the fix was in for the saints to win is not realistic. The powers that be for the NFL would love nothing better than to see a Manning vs. Favre superbowl. There were some questionable calls that is for sure like the sack on BF called a personal foul, and the no call on the shot that hurt his ankle. If I am not mistaken the Cardinals were flagged for a shot to Brees' legs. With all that said, "Who Dat!"

best response I saw on the Viqueens message board was this response to a shite load of flaming that was going on about officiating:

"Ref's didnt throw the INT with a minute left in FG range."

Or how about the horrible spot that they gave Devery about 1.5 yards behind where the ball was when his feet hit the ground?

Or how about the cheap shots on Brees that weren't called that were called on the Saints hitting Favre in the exact same manner?

Or how about the fumbles that the Vikings were damn lucky to get THREE TIMES?

We could play this game all day long.

Meachem DID trap that ball...against his thigh. I never saw the ball hit the ground. And how about the unsportsmanlike hit on the punt returner who called a fair catch and then fumbled the ball. As far as I know, once he fumbled he was fair game.

You mean the face guarding call? You didn't see he has his hand under the ball the whole time?
