Per Florio: "The Saints are confident that their fortunes will improve with enhancements to the roster, along with some cultural tweaks. The feeling is that too much blame is being placed on Allen and quarterback Derek Carr for the team’s struggles in 2023, and that Allen and Carr could be key components of a resurgence in 2024."

This is absolutely infuriating. Ownership and management is rotten to the core.

And some of you thought I was being a troll when I told you this all during the season.

Told ya so . If anyone is the troll it is the Front Office and they like it.

I’ve been angry and depressed. I don’t think I’ll ever get to acceptance.

Not just running him over, but they are backing up the bus and running over PC multiple times with this statement

Mickey is about to restructure everybody into 2035 and overpay a free agent isn't he?

enhancements to the roster,

I fricking hate our front office.

By all means lets trade up again or push more money into the future to sign a 29 year old declining safety because we're just a couple of players away!

Good lord. We all knew this was the plan when they kept the staff and team together and got Carr. Its a Pro Sports business and business is good. 2024 was always going to be a repeat...except for Pete I think.

The saints need to start by getting rid of Thomas and Kamara on offense. Both eating up a lot of money and are passed their primes.

Such bullshite. How are the Raiders a more competent organization than the Saints?

It’s going to be the same as when he was there, but I doubt the Saints fire him four games into next season, so he will be even worse for this organization.

I definitely agree that Allen needs to be gone, but Carr was definitely taking too much of the blame.

He’s definitely not great, but he’s nowhere near the biggest problem with the offense. You have to have him next year anyway……..so you may as well improve the OC and see what you really have. We all know Pete is terrible.

I think getting rid of MT will be addition by subtraction to start. But the front office needs to take accountability…..they HAVE TO DRAFT BETTER if they want to turn this around.

I think you’ll see players like Micheal Thomas and Marshon Lattimore scapegoated. Wouldn’t be surprised if Kamara is lumped in there as well.

I think Kamara, Latimore have the most value trade wise. Thomas is get rid of for a lack of skittles

I say good, there should be no excuses when they fail next season. Get rid of them both unless they win big (or at least Allen, don’t know of they can get out of that Carr contract).

Reading Mike Florio’s quote on this front office’s mindset and lack of accountability, and immediately comparing it to Mike Tomlin’s interview this week where he basically said “I don’t need any help or suggestions, as I get compensated highly to figure it out and be a leader”. Completely infuriating!

Meanwhile Duncan is writing that it’s time to get rid of MT and Marshon…

Front office: “how can we make things worse? I know… let’s get rid of two popular players the same week we announce we’re keeping a top 3 most despised Saints coach of all time! It’s genius!”
