First: The New Orleans Saints opened the 1975 NFL season at the Superdome, losing 21–0 to the Cincinnati Bengals in the first regular-season game in the facility.

Best:09 NFCCG

Worst:January 3, 1988 Minnesota Vikings 44, New Orleans Saints 10 Final. First playoff game in the Superdome & 1991 playoff game vs. Falcons

First: Joe Horn's Cell phone game vs. the Giants.
Best: Probably the Joe Horn Cell phone game lol.
Worst: Bengals in 2007 I believe. I was extremely hung over and Chad Johnson scored 4 touchdowns I think. It was incredibly miserable from start to finish.

First -- way too old to remember that

Best -- Saints @ Redskins 2009 (Meach strip & score comeback victory)

Worst -- Saints loss to Falcons in Dome, 1978 (Bartkowski hail mary)

First: December 3rd, 1978 vs San Francisco. Saints won 24-13

Best: Vikings NFC Championship game

Worst: Dec. 29th 2002 vs a 6-9 Panthers team, the Saints needed only to win to make playoffs and Haslett refused to play Delhomme in favor of an injured Brooks. The Saints needed to win only one of the last three games against a 6-10 vikings team or a 2-14 Bengals team or a 7-9 Panthers team and did neither.

After that collapse I never felt the same for the Saints again. I still have season tix but I'm only about 60% of the fan I was.

First: loss to the panthers in 04. Last game of the season I think. Gleason got ejected for a classic nut punch

Best: Monday night beat down of the giants the year they won the SB

Worst: either the first loss(cowboys) of the 09 season or the loss to the dolphins in tiger stadium.

First - 1973 vs Atlanta in Tulane Stadium. We lost 62-7. Yes my first game ever was the most lopsided loss in Saints history.

Best - 1990 New Year's Eve 20-17 win over the Rams. What a great night! (We lost to the bears 16-6 a week later in the Wildcard game)

Worst - Without a doubt:

Oakland Raiders at New Orleans Saints
Monday, December 3, 1979

Raiders 7 7 7 21 42
Saints . 0 28 7 0 35

First: 1993 vs. 49ers - won on a Andersen FG. Fun times! Bad traffic...

Best: The NFC Championship game was an amazing experience, but I was too stressed to enjoy it. The 2000 playoff win vs. the Rams is one of my all-time favorite memories period. Was so glad to be there.

Worst: probably the Carolina game in Tiger Stadium. Place was a ghost town and there was this sick feeling in the air that the team would be relocating. It was tough to see how messed up the team was and know how messed up things were in New Orleans.

First- dolphins with Marino in 1988 I believe.

Worst - losing to falcons or eagles in wild card games in playoffs back in the day.

Best- Super Bowl 44 or NFC championship. Both were amazing. Super Bowl - when porter picked of Manning, the feeling was amazing.

First : 2001 vs the Rams on MNF. We lost.

Best: Domecoming vs Atlanta in 2006.

Worst : Colts in 02 or 03 on SNF. We lost 55-21 or something.

First: 1995 vs the Colts

Best: Toss Up - 2007 NFC Divisional Game vs the Eagles or Sunday night game vs the Steelers on Halloween

Worst: Don't really have a bad one, but I think the MNF this year against the Dolphins was probably the worst of the few I have been to.

First: 1998 vs 49ers. Got our asses handed to us 31-0

Best: 2009 NFC Championship (not sure anything I attend will ever top this in my lifetime) ; 2006 vs Falcons is 2nd

Worst: 2005 vs Dolphins in Tiger Stadium where I witnessed the lowest this franchise had ever sunk

First: don't remember the year but we played the niners and lost. I was 6 I think.

Best: Homecoming against Atlanta. Still get chills thinking about it. NFCCG is a close second, Pats game in 09 is 3rd

Worst: the Tim Couch Hail Mary as has been mentioned. I think that actually may have been my second game ever...

first: my uncle took me to a pre season game against the detroit lions, probably in the late 80s or 1990.

best: despite the result, against the dolphins in tiger stadium in 2005. it was nice to get away from all the crap in new orleans and watch the saints suck.

worst: probably that first game. we were supposed to get picked up by my aunt after the game but she didnt show up. we had to walk back to broadmoor from the dome.

We didn't play the bengals in 07. We lost a shootout to them in 06. It certainly wasn't miserable.

First: Bengals 1994 (actually 1993 season). A bengals reciever caught the ball then hit the ground, no saints defender went and touched him, so he got up and ran the rest of the way into the endzone.

Best: Tie between NFC Championship v Minnesota the excitement and utter disbelief by the fans when that kick went through was amazing.

also the steelers game in 2006. We just got Brees, Payton, and Reggie. It was my first away game and we had awesome seats. A couple rows up in the corner of the endzone. IN that corner Reggie did his 5 yrd leap right in front of us. It was awesome. We lost, which sucks, but that game is still one of my favorites.

The jets game in 01 when Turley threw the helmet is also one of my favorite memories.

Worst: Tie between 2002 Panthers at home. Brooks was playing like dog shite he was 12/31 145 yrds 0Tds 2 INts. The entire stadium at one point was chanting put in Jake. Which we never did. In his post game Haslett explained that Jake was never warmed up and couldnt have played or some bullshite . Which makes no fricking sense at all.Next year we traded Delhomme to the panthers and he took them to the superbowl. It still pisses me off.

And the dolphins game in Death Valley in 2005. Ricky Williams and Ronnie brown ran for a combined 188 yrds on us. Aaron brooks played like dog shite with 14/31 181 yrds 0 tds 1 int. He also led the team in rushing with a whopping 34 yrds. At one point the entire stadium was cheering for paper airplanes to reach the field from the nosebleeds.
No lie. there would be a play going on and the crowd would suddenly erupt as a plane almost got to the field.

My first was also my worst. The first Playoff game against the Vikes. Started off 10-0 ended up 41-10.

Best, I didn't go back to a game until this year against Buffalo so that is my best.
