Finally having some money in FA sets up team

There really isn't a secret to how the Patriots do it.
Sign good free agents to fill holes and garner picks to add players that might pan out in the future.
They are not drafting for need. So the Saints signing a guard and potential getting Butler could allow the Saints to take a player in the 3rd Round or later that may have dropped because of injury or position.

We've never been scared off by injury or project players? Just go back to the 2014 draft.
