Let’s be honest we go 7-9 four straight years Sean probably gets fired.

at his induction into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame, Saban did say 1 of his biggest mistakes was leaving LSU to go to Miami

don't know if Saban would make that mistake a 2nd time

Yep.

Saban is a God in Tuscaloosa and paid like a king. Why in the hell would he want to risk it all to go into that clusterfrick Falcons organization and deal with that dysfunctional front office.

I think they go one of three ways

1. Mike McCarthy
2. Kellen Moore
2. Lincoln Riley

My biggest wish is that they sign Quinn to a huge extension.

My second biggest wish is that they hire Saban.

Side note: Looking at their "Next Up-Falcons at Saints" thread:

Falcons have allowed their QB to be sacked (21) or hit (60) 81 times.

Saints have allowed their QB to be sacked (12) or hit (27) 39 times.

ATL would have to gut the front office to give him the power he would want. Way too many former GMs hanging around.

2. Kellen Moore

Maybe. But the whole "chasing the young offense guru" think is going to blow up for some people... wonder if this happens here.

2. Lincoln Riley

He will get a better offer.

since being hired the Falcons and Saints have played 27 times....the Saints do lead that series 16 - 11.

59% winning percentage.

Daddy may be a stretch but he has been a savior for the Saints.

The series has seen exactly 100 games including playoffs and the Falcons lead the series 52 - 48.

4 games difference out of 100 played is a rivalry if i have ever seen one.

also i am aware that after thanksgiving night that 4 game lead will in all likelihood be reduced to 2 games.

I remember reading an article somewhere stating that this was widely considered one of the best rivalries in professional football. It just didn't get the national attention until both teams crawled out of abject failure.

Current situation not withstanding of course.
