This is the type of FA we should have been pulling for years now. The break the bank on 1 guy strategy was killing depth and productivity (especially when they got hurt). Hoping the trade works out and nets us a player/picks and we coast in the draft without any pressure to reach.

Well he's going to get cut if they can't move him.
He's hasn't been good the past few years, but when you trade, the risk drops immensely due to very little if anything being guaranteed

Better than Galette's contract if that's the number. I hope he continues to play hard and stays in shape. Allows us to address other needs in the draft and free agency.
