guy at CSC makes a good case, I like the idea...

Ellington may be a low-risk, high-reward signing that can at best add a new element to the offense. At worst, it keeps the Saints from needing to reach on a draft pick. He can be released with little financial penalty. At best, Ellington turns out to be a great fit in New Orleans and seizes this opportunity to re-enter free agency next year with proven production, like Saints defensive lineman Nick Fairley is poised to do this spring.

Payton has been looking to fill that role since Sproles left. It was dynamic with Bush then Sproles in this offense. Unfortunately the Spiller experiment failed. I would like the pick-up based on that.

Not bad at all. I like it, he also is a good return man.

AE hasn't played a full 16 game season yet for the birds

Neither has Travaris Cadet for the Saints. What's your point? Bush missed a lot of games too. We just need a dynamic pass catcher out the backfield. Not a damn iron man

Cadet is inactive. Ellington is injured. Big difference

Would be a waste of money (albeit chump change). Ellington is not good, he's 28 years old, and he's always hurt. Cadet may not be any good, but why replace him with someone who is equally as bad and who hasn't been in the system for the past few seasons? Short answer, you don't.

Draft McGuire for that role and leave these bums for a team who needs em. We don't.

Just draft Christian McAffery, we all know Payton wants to.

I'm tired of having so many undersized, injury-proned RB's on the roster.

Maybe it's because he's burned me in fantasy football but this guy can't stay on the field
