This just points out to me that we had a great draft.
Im cool with that. Drafting someone at 32 who ends up being a steady figure on the line is good imo
not exactly our fault

but New Orleans had their sights set on another target: Reuben Foster. The 49ers traded ahead of the Saints and they were forced to select an offensive lineman instead of some much-needed defensive help.

So, our worst pick is a solid player and projected long-term starter? I'll take that.

how can it be a worst pick if we made the best pick available??????????
they blame us for not picking a guy someone had already picked because someone traded up to take or targeted guy? that's just the most stupid thing ever

I'll just say we spent about 200 snaps with an eligible tackle, which is 12
5 per game.
That's considerable playing time so even if he doesn't start he will contribute and start next year.
I believe that also keeps our line intact for the two years after this when Unger is up in 2020.

So their reasoning for it being the worst pick is as follows:
Ramczyk might be awesome, but the Saints wanted a DE.
That's so stupid.

It's an Alabama 247 site, they are putting that simply because the saints didn't grab a Bama player
I would guess that every other team on there is probably a pick that they chose another player over a Bama player

No. It's not.
It shows up as an Alabama 247 site because that is who I pay my subscription through.
It's a national 247 article.

Still surprised Seattle traded within the division.
Given their solid defensive drafting and development, that should tell you more negatively how they saw Foster than anything else.

If that's our worst pick then we had a damn good draft

Anal zone was easily our worst pick. That said, I hope he makes me eat those words.
Gross.

Ramdyk "n" Analzone may become the best position the Saints filled during the draft.

I honestly don't even pay attention to shite like this. Want to know how I know they never watch the Saints play? Simple. They think T is not a need for us when it is. It might not have been the biggest need for us but it definitely was one. Strief has also looked really awful at times and it could be getting worse. It's time to replace the old man. Could be this year or not but at least you have a guy now that should step in for him if anything happens. Don't understand the logic. So we got unlucky on Foster this guy becomes our worst pick because we went BPA? Is he implying he's not a need at all on our team? That's how I took it. I think the Saints did very well when it came to picking both BPA and needs at the same time.
