I've been to Saints games in 25 different NFL stadiums and the Eagles game in 2009 was hands down my favorite. Such a blast.

Their fans are GREAT - don't believe the haters. Just compliment their city and their stadium and "make friends" with the people sitting next to you prior to kickoff. They'll get your back if anybody else tries to bug you later in the game.

Be sure to visit the old areas of Philadelphia - quite literally the birthplace of America. Benjamin Franklin's tomb (the greatest American who ever lived) is very plain - just a worn slate marker on the edge of a very old cemetery is a must see. Also Christ Church which is where most of the founders attended service - very old and tiny and quaint.

What this guy said. A few friends and I started going to an away game 5 years ago. Each time I told people where we were going I always heard the "Oh shite, their fans are the worst. Be careful, hope you don't get your arse beat" speech. I have yet to have a problem. As SirWinston said, get in earlier, take in the sites, make friends with the people around you, talk about the ups and downs of both teams, and enjoy the game. A few times we would have one person near us give us a hard time and each time the home fans had our backs. Be respectful and they will do the same. Headed to Arizona this year for the opener. Golf, food, golf, cabanas, Saints 1-0 when we leave; excited about this one.

Have a great time in Philly. It's a fun town. I got bombed on South street (not sure if that's what it's called. It's been close to ten years since I was there).

I'm going to Philly, Carolina, Washington and Houston this year.

I live in Houston, but I'll probably hit you up on recommendations before the others
