Eagles have BY FAR the better RB.

Eagles have a better receiving group.

The Saints still have better weapons overall.

Colston and Moore's reemergence has been key. The throw Sproles, Graham, Pierre, and Stills in. Two weeks ago vs the Panthers Ingram has his best rushing game IMO (not statistically like the Cowboys game) but I was more impressed.

The eagles rely heavily on one to two players offensively.. and the Saints do a great job defensively of taking guys like this away.

I will say though Foles uses his tight ends well.

The Eagles WR core consists of Desean Jackson and YT.

How so? No one in the Saints front 7 scares me, although Lofton is pretty damn good. Is Bunkley still playing, I remember him in Philly, he was really bad

It's close

Graham, Colston, Sproles, Thomas, Stills, Moore

or

McCoy, Jackson, Cooper, Ertz, Celek, Avant

The key to stopping the Eagles will be three things....

1. Pressure: Foles is very poised especially against pressure, but he lacks the mobility of other QB's the Saints have played. Foles reminds me of a young Carson Palmer. Big arm and above average accuracy who makes plays and limits interceptions. If you can pressure him early and often and build a lead then you definitely have the upper hand.

2. Stopping the run: This is the main thing that scares me. McCoy is very versatile and fast. The Saints must spend a ton of time planning to stop the running game and make the inexperienced QB beat them.

3. Covering the TE: If there is any time you will see the void left by missing Kenny Vacarro it is going to be this week against Celek. Celek is defintely the safe button for Foles and he uses it often. Roman harper covering Celek really scares me.

The Saints are 4th in the league in sacks, and Cam Jordan and Junior Galette have combined for over 20 sacks.

I agree... The ONLY way Harper has success against Celek is of Harper mans up and consistently jams him off LOS. Or maybe some defensive chipping from the DEs. If Celek gets free releases results will be touchdown or big play. Let's hope Harper(along with everyone else) brings his A game and plays physical and smart.

I agree fully with your assessment. ESPECIALLY THE BOLD! Ryan is going to need to figure out a way to get Harper some help. Be it rolling coverages, or inserting Bush or Frampton on third downs to key on Celek. He could also have Jenkins man up on Celek the entire game; although this scares me as well being that you never know what you will get from ole Jenkins!

The Saints have two players with 12 or more sacks - Cam Jordan (12.5) and Junior Galette (12). And the Saints get a pretty good push up the middle. The Eagles sack leader has 8.

The Eagles are also ranked No. 29 in total defense. The Saints are No. 4.

You may be thinking of the Saints from last year.

Well you also didn't think Anthony Davis was any good, so don't hold it against me if I discount your talent evaluation skills a bit.

I think McCoy may be the best RB in the league. Peterson is great, but McCoy makes people miss, he can catch and run, break tackles....he's just a beast. If some no name from St. Louis went for 130 against this defense....
