Among many other over paid under performing team mates he won't be here next year

Hoping Payton is with him.

I blame Peyton.

I got criticized for saying that we'd be 7-9 or 6-10, but that's what happens when a bottom 3 GM and a bottom 10 coach have been running the show for several years.
Loomis and Payton are one of the worst GM/HC combos in the NFL now - really stunning how far they've fallen

You sir are part of the problem. Quit living in the past. That was (7) seven years ago!! We suck. Payton sucks. The bags we will wear at the next home game, represents the fans that want to see a change. That change must start with a new head coach!!
0-4, 0-4, 0-3 don't cut it!!
"But we were good 7 years ago" SCREW DAT
DUST OFF THE BAGS, THE TIME HAS COME
I hope you have flame retarder underneath that paper bag!!!!

This is such a chickenshit thread. Learn some Saints history before making ignorant, Falcon-like threads like this.
In the first few decades of the Saints history, worker's wages in the Saints market area were lower than in most of the other NFL markets. People had less money to spend on luxuries like pro football tickets. Lots of NOLA Dads worked extra hours or even moonlighted to afford season tickets.
Year after year of losing REALLY hurt the season ticket holders because the money spent on the tickets was earned with extra hard work. Finally in 1980, the Saints hit rock bottom and went 1-15. It was around this time that the paper bags came out. The long-suffering fans did not break out the bags after a few games, but, rather after years of losing, years of frustration and years of working very hard to earn extra money to afford season tickets. Correction. I said "years" of futility? It was DECADES of losing seasons and futility.
So, it would be impossible to replicate the original conditions that gave rise to the bagheads. Wages are much higher now. People can afford this luxury now. And most importantly the Saints no longer have such a dismal record of losing and futility.
The bagheads belong to History now. Anybody who brings up the baghead thing nowadays is either misguided and exercising poor judgment OR he is an Atlanta Falcons fan.
Neither one of those is a good thing, so, I propose that we should only mention the bagheads when we are discussing New Orleans Saints History.
