Dude, really. We are all rantards. Why else are we posting on a stupid message board. If you think that you are better than anybody else, then you are failing at life.

I agree the dropped passes stat is BS. However, you picked a bad example in Henderson to make your case.

You want a BS stat, look at INT's. Up to half of a QB's INT's are deflected balls by the receiver or the receiver ran a bad timing route.

I agree, but I'm not the kind of guy to go back and edit the post to make it look better(except for spelling errors). I'll take my lumps.

So. Who rang your bell? Are you taking up for your little brother or something?

You know nothing about me either. Anonymity(spelling?) and subsequently accountability (or lack of) is the worst thing about the internet.

So by this you are insinuating that every poster has equally nothing productive or insightful to add to any discussion?

It may be a little blown out of proportion but any team who has a guy that drops a lot of passes is going to be hard on that guy and that's understandable.
This is probably the best website I've seen. It has stats for just about anything you can ask for.

If you don't get this point:

Then I can't help you.

Have a nice one.

I am in no way a Saintard, nor do i actually care for them, I am a football fan, and the only reason I even joined this site is because I know Meateye and know that he is one of the biggest Saintards I personally know here or in real life. When asked about his terribly incorrect predictions on Trufant and Samuels his Defense was "that's what everyone was talking about."

I try to look at things in an unbaised way, eventhough i could be considered by most an Anti-Saint, once again I am a football fan and i was forced to watch the Saints by my family when they sucked and got owned by everyone in the old NFC west, when i would have rather watched 12 or 13 other games that day. Lovingly at work I took Meateye by the hand and explained the differences and similarities, strenghts and weaknesses between the 3-4 and the 4-3 defense. It was cute when the little light bulb went off in his head and he said "Oh, so the 3-4 doesn't really suck as much as i thought it did....."

I do think the saints made a smart pick up with Vilma, he was a beast with the U, and was on the field too much in New York because of their lack of Offensive production, I do believe that with the Saints offense, Hopefully with a healthy Deuce, a correctly used Reggie, and an up and coming Pierre, and drew slinging the ball all over the field, Vilma will do just fine, and will possibly make a pro-bowl or two in the next five years. The Morgan deal is a stretch, he's a hit or two away from Muhammed Ali status. The Randall Gay move could be good, better than jason david who played cover 2 and was switched to man, and whom Peyton Manning did not pick on in the Season opener....

All in all the Saints need another corner in the first, that is my opinion and i'm sticking to it.

devery drops too many passes, he kills drives...until he fixes that, he doesnt need the worthless defense.

That "my way" link that wolfhawk gave is pretty interesting:

Eric Johnson is tied for 5th in the league on % of completed catches when thrown to:
-He caught 48 balls when he was the target on 63 throws (76.2%)

...better than #9 Reggie Bush (74.5%) 73 of 98
and #15 Marques Colston (68.5%) 98 of 143
though both were thrown to a lot more than Johnson

Just because you've been exposed for having a piss poor argument doesn't mean you gotta take it out on everyone else. Please start another dumb thread and forget about this one.
