You are unbelievably stupid. How was the pass protection? That's on Brees too?

This is arguably the best defense in the league. How many games has Brees won for us? Go find a new team, bitch.

I don't know but this year he's been the primary culprit in 3 of our 4 losses.

His pick 6 in Cleveland undeniably cost us that game. His pick today was just a fricking killer. Tony Romo's worst career interception might not have even been that awful. And the pick in the end zone at Atlanta was another dumbass Brees brain fart.

It's this kind of thinking that needs to stop.

I love Drew and what he did for us but I honestly feel like a change of scenery might do him a lot of good. He has been with Payton and the Saints a long time. Nine years is an eternity in football years. I could see Drew surrounding himself with a young and up-and-coming team, like the Jaguars, Chiefs or Bills, and taking them into the playoffs with excitement and energy. Remember he took San Diego to the playoffs too, before he came here. Right now he is surrounded by aging Super Bowl retreads, poor supporting coaches and too many unorthodox/small school/project players who are a reach/stretch to make an NFL roster.

What else can we afford?

He knew what he was getting himself into.

First of all let's give Drew is due, he is the greatest QB in Saints history and prob. in the top 15 ever. With that being said Drew's skill set in fading no question about it, it started a few years back. The lack of a running game and a pitiful defense has put pressure on Drew to perform at high level that he just can't obtained anymore.

Got shite in your eyes bro? The games we have lost, we haven't been blown out. Mistages have been made on both sides of the ball. Most of the time our offense is the only thing going for us and that starts with Brees.

If we had a damn defense that was top 15, wed probably be 5-1

If you blame this loss on brees, then i assume you dont pay attention to te small details or offensive line play

Non-Saints fan but watched the last couple of games including this one.

Brees isn't done by a longshot.

He's just pressing every game...and maybe over-confidence...but he's pulling an old man Favre but w/o the same arm...trying to force things.

He's basically playing stupid...which is surprising for his age. But he's still a great QB when he has time. Play-calling also leaves a lot to be desired. Sean P...isn't living up to his rep.

Watching the Cowboy game and Romo tearing it up. The guy is just a better QB than Brees now, even after back surgery. Blasphemy for me to say but true.

What do u think is more likely? Romo magically becoming a better qb than brees, or dallas having a better oline, giving them time to throw and a run game to keep defenses off balance?

Drew is not done. We need some O linemen and a speed reciever that can catch the ball,And some refs that still arent on goodells payroll, 4th down interference on Bush was BS. Brews career will be shortend if he doesnt get some raping the QB calls ,saw one hit in the 4th qtr that could have been timed using a sun/dome dial. If he does have a bad habit is his confedence that he can still throw the ball away while he is going down, just tuck it away. We may never have another QB that is as good as Brees is now and probably another 2 years, He is still as good as Brady ,and Payton, dont see Denver saying he is washed up and hes older than Brees. The man cant do it by himself,we dont have a reciever.

You said it ,and he is Alot higher than that 2 of the three greatest yardage seasons in history. Easy top 5. The Saints will never have an equal and I wouldnt take anybody over him for at least another 2-3 years. The man needs an elite reciever. Montana had Rice, Bradshaw had Stallworth . Aikman had Irving . Who has Brees had, a 7th rd reciever that cant catch the ball. His best reciever hes ever had was Devery Henderson, avg. at best, a long way from elite. Brees is not the problem. The Saints have to get him some help, hes trying to carry an NFL team on his shoulders ,alone
