Drew Brees is now 85 TD passes away from being #1 all time. He's 10 TD passes ahead of Brady..

Drew is 7,760 passing yards away from being #1 all-time. He's 4,237 yards ahead of Brady.

We will witness a record two years from now that will likely not be matched for a very long time

He will get the yardage record.

I don't know about the TD record. But, I hope he gets it. He has to keep performing at a really high level to do so.

The complete disintegration of the Saints around him will always go down as a real tragedy. Ridiculous.

We have 6 games left this year. If he averages 2.5TD/game that leaves him 70 TD passes away from the record. He can and probably will break both records in 2 years

Barring injury Drew will take both records IMO. 2-3 years.

Too bad he will never be considered the GOAT because he played in an era with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers.

Could throw for another 2,000 this season which means he will be knocking on the door at the end of next year. That record is as good as his.

He has been averaging 34 TDs a year since he arrived, if he matches that this year and each of the next 2 years he will have thrown for 76 TDs. So essentially, as long as he plays 3 more years, he should have that record as well.

He's easily top 10 all time IMO

Won't have quite the resume of Peyton and Brady, awards wise, but I believe he should be in the conversation with them

Drew Brees is the greatest ever. No question.

He'd be the GOAT if the people up top were halfway competent.

That record won't last but a few seasons. Guys are coming in, starting as a rookie and throwing for 3,000+ their 1st season. Comparing Brees and Matt Ryan's first 8 seasons in the league, Ryan has 10,000 more yards than Brees did. Go ahead with the down votes but if he stays healthy, he will smash a lot of the records that Brees sets.

Give Drew Julio Jones and the talent that Matt Ryan has had to throw to and let's see. Drew is the King of making chicken salad out of chicken shite.

This is irrelevant. It's not a matter of who is more talented. It's strictly based on stats.

health and longevity matters too. Which is hard to predict.

Cam, Big Ben, and Luck have taken their fair share of hits and have lost a lot of time because of it as well. if that continues, they won't come close. Can Ryan, Rivers, etc stay healthy long enough

Age and time are the determining factors here. Matt would have to average 4500 yards per season for the next 8 years to be at the same position in yards as Drew at Drew's current age. Not impossible, but not easy to do either. Drew's huge stage surge late in his career is not the norm.

Let's hope we build an oline that allows him to continue.

This year's draft:
OLB
CB
Oline
DE
WR

We've drafted like 7 DBs in the first two rounds in the last 10 years.. Vonn Bell, Jean-Baptiste, Vaccaro, Patrick Robinson, Malcom Jenkins, Tracy Porter, Roman Harper..

Hopefully we can start building a solid defense that can carry us when Drew leaves
