I know qb's that throw pic 6's with consistency is not one of them, is it?

Pick 6's, Colston drops/half assed efforts an/or/fumbling,etc etc etc....Those 2 guys combined to absolutely lose games we should have won DESPITE or defensive woes.

Peyton has lost his touch and Ryan ate Tom Benson or else he should be GONE!

I loved the announcers last night asking what the hell Ryan was blitzing for on 3rd and 13 since we have corners that cannot match up with the Ravens WR's...

I held tickets for over 18 yrs and let them go when they tried to double my prices after the Super Bowl win. There was NO way we would ever repeat the chain of luck that took place to make that happen....

I've saved over 5 grand per year and have occasionally had the opportunity to watch them implode. We are in the worst division in the history of football (judging by this is the latest in the season in history that a sub .500 team was in 1st), and we cannot even compete at home anymore, which is the ONLY thing that we were known for lately.

First, it was 2nd and 18 and it was pretty obvious why we blitzed. We had to knock them out of FG range since the refs blew the PI call and the intentional grounding call

Name them. Name the several games where Brees was solely responsible for the Saints losing. Go.

Not solely responsible, but maybe 60-80% every loss this year except for Dallas, and Bengals. I remember him either costing us points by throwing a interception in the redzone or just outside of it or a pic six or a pic on our side of the field that led to points or a fumble that led to points.

!st chart..

Only Jay frickING HORRIBLE Cutler has more INT's

8 EIGHT guys have been sacked more times yet have fewer picks. Hmmmmmm Yeah, keep blaming the OL.

See, you numbnuts insist on blaming the OL for his problems, then come here and crow because he completes a TON of 5 yd passes.

Our running game sucks...he throws a ton, big deal.

When you throw a pick 6, it erases all other legitimate stats that you want to throw at us.

And there are several pics that were not pick 6's but were deep in our own territory.

Sorry, I just have trouble getting excited over him going 10-10 on teh last drive when the other team is begging him to throw the short underneath completions....which he did perfectly. They were up 2 td's.

Exactly, and it's things he has never really done before. But now it is a constant each game.

Be careful, Drew's lovers on here are about to get off their knees and stop sucking long enough to insult you and proclaim you ignorant.

It's like their go-to consolation statement is "without Brees, we wouldn't have been in a good position to throw a pick anyway."

You're using this to criticize Drew, but it is actually one of his strength. He has the 3rd lowest sack rate in the NFL when pressured. He's one of the best in the NFL at getting away from pressure.

He had 4 of his 9 incompletions on the last drive. We averaged over 7 yards a play in this game not counting the last drive

He did, however, face pressure on 22 passes and had an interception rate that would place him 4th all-time

This is why we know you don't watch games.

Everyone watching the game knows he's getting pressure an absurd amount the last 2 years (including this year). The sack #'s don't reflect it, but lets not act as if he has all day to throw like Manning or Romo (7.5 seconds vs. the Giants).

Then shouldn't his YPA be lower than it is? I mean 7.5 > 5 right?

Serious question, you do you lose accuracy while leading the lead in completion percentage?

I don't think anyone is saying Drew is the best QB in the league right now. But you're saying he's useless, which is so fricking stupid that is hardly merits a response. I mean, how does one who claims to be intelligent let that dumb fricking idea enter his brain? Then you follow up with dumb shite like he's losing accuracy and has a weak arm. Jesus Christ.

And he shouldn't be 10th in YPA if all he's doing is completing 5 yard passes, right?

Right?

fricking idiot.

ETA: Just remembered that you were the a-hole who called the school to make sure that HS player was appropriately punished. It all makes sense now.

He has the 2nd most pressures in the NFL this season, yet is near the bottom in sacks...

He has a sack rate of 8% when pressured, which is outstanding. For comparison, Aaron Rodgers is at 19.4%

If he wasn't so good at avoiding sacks, we would be blown out every game.

More than half the teams in this league would line up to try to get him. If that is useless, I failed English...

So instead we lose closer games. And games he's thrown a pick 6 in.....or an int isnside of our own red zone.

I don't hate Brees, I love the guy. He delivered one of my life's greater memories in sports.

He's not his normal self. It doesn't mean he's the worst. But he is not what he was. (which I think is better than anyone ever).

Tangibles are weakening. Deal with it. We were good when he was great. Him being good means the Saints suck.

So yes, call me whatever, but I would rather have his and colstons salary and use it on a great OL and defense for the long run improvement of the team rather than have a great qb that will not be able to move us forward. When I say it's over, I mean us having any type of shite at a championship. It's classic. Team wins, a few key guys take moat of the cash...Team declines.

I think the Rantards should organize a pharm party, and one wise person should sneak in and replace all the pills with cyanide. Maybe it's just me, but I think that would be funny.

Drew was almost flawless last night, despite being rushed constantly. One bad throw, the rest of his game was stellar. And we still lose? Even a modestly intelligent person can see the problem is not at QB.

What denial? I said he made one bad throw, which was the result of pressure yet again. He was getting hit as he threw. Now if he didn't throw, we take the sack, punt the ball, and most likely give up a TD as the defense was getting run over.

The point (which flew right over your head) is that when a QB plays that good, despite being rushed way too much, and we still loose - that QB is not the problem.
