I always look at it as Brady and Manning being washed up so maybe we can trade Brees before he gets that old

One of the better things having Brees as our old guy is what a workout beast he is. Ya can never tell about some flukey major injury (like his shoulder) but I feel good knowing he will keep himself in top notch condition. As the years creep up that becomes all the more important.

He's such an intense competitor I think he will push to 40 or beyond if health remains and he remains competitive. He loves the game so much he might hang on as long as Favre. And why not if you love it and someone is still willing to pay big bucks?

After another couple of years, I can imagine an earlier exit scenario for him if he did the Super Bowl repeat ala Elway.

Go out and get Drew 2 playmaking receivers that can stretch the field.

He won't look 35.

Hell, give him one and Graham will never get shut down again. Pathetic that teams could put their #1 on our TE and we had no one to make them pay for it

Must be awesome to be washed up and playing versus each other in the AFC Championship Game.

You people need to learn how to read an entire thread or be less stupid. One or the other.

Also, I'm 33 and am not old, so nether is Drew dammit.

Hah, I don't think comprehension skills have much to do with it.

He read it as it's written.
