I think it was. What would McCown be doing on punt team?

Serious question - have we successfully executed a fake kick play since the Super Bowl?

Payton has gotten really bad - that fake punt in Dallas last year was absolutely the single worst play call in NFL history. I really wish the GIF continued to show Drew Brees standing on the sideline after the play was snuffed out - just kind of staring in disbelief that Payton called that instead of a standard play (we were moving the ball on Dallas really well at that point).

Saints try the worst fake punt at the worst possible time

If he throws the ball, its an easy 1st down. Fake end around middle screen

35 was wide open. And like i said, the carolina one was also open

No we should never run another end around on 3rd/4th and short again

If he plays, someone will end his career in Carolina. Above 50% chance that happens.

I really don't want to bet on it dude.

But last year he got hit more than any other year in his career.

This year our line looks worse. And he's playing injured.

Im just playing the odds.

I really don't think he's going to play - this is classic bluff IMO and the right move to say he's going to play when he's obviously not. I even predict he'll go out for warmups at the very least to keep the charade up for as long as possible. Right move IMO.

nah, if he's not going to play then he's going to be prepping whoever is going play. He's not going to try and fool anyone when the backup is going to need as much help as he can get from Drew.
