I'll take it I guess.

We must really love Okafor and Kikaha.

Y'know, what was the Fla LB's most recent injury- broken forearm? That's just a freak injury, and won't have ANY long-term effects.

Sounded like he'd come back from the previous issue and was tearing it up until that happened. Dude might well be a steal.

It's a projection (aka educated guess) of value based off of what he thinks the player's potential is as a pro. For this guy you take his athleticism and flash of ability that he showed when he did play then discount it using the fact that he has serious injury issues. You can surmise that Mayock thinks this guy is pretty close to a sure thing... if he can stay healthy... which is a pretty big if.

Tape usually has a lot to do with rankings. So when healthy he was a beast.

And he tore up the combine and senior bowl

I saw Kamara a couple of times last season. He is the real deal.

You want to know what their real ranking is?

It's where they would go in a redraft 3 years from now.

None of this really means shite right now. Let's wait until they get on the field before crowning them or trashing them.

That said healthy optimism is always better for you than toxic pessimism.

If Kikaha can actually play then I feel pretty confident about his ability. The thing is that I'm not particularly confident about is being able to play.

You hate it when someone is telling you the truth deep down inside of you you know they have had a horrible draft.

Exactly. I guess they must really like Okafor. He had 8 sacks a few years ago. I guess we thought there wasn't anyone left that could have played over him and Kikaha.

But even still with Klein, Teo, Robertson and Ellerbe, Anzalone won't even sniff the field this year. A 3rd rounder on a special teams guy

At least our other four picks will start/play a big role.

But we drafted a white guy. I was told white guys can't play.

This wasn't a horrible draft. We actually killed it until that pick. So many good pass rushers left. Bashem, Rivers, Williams (even though he's a shithead)

Te'o isn't even a sure thing to make the roster, and Klein could be a bust FA (I'm hoping he's legit but have serious doubts).

He has a good shot at seeing some sub packages, especially if Healtherbe goes down again.

Anzalone is seriously the #5 LB according to Mayock?
