Draft picks are great if your organization can evaluate talent consistently.

I don't have much to say except the following:

1. Draft picks are gambling, which makes it exciting. Also the chances of losing are high. Very few players pan out, then they're gone in 4 years.

2. NFL places an in-ordinarily high value on draft picks outside the top 15. Pro Bowl players still in their prime get traded for 2nd and 3rd round picks.

Cooks who panned out at the 20th spot has effectively lost value to 32 after back to back 1,000 yd seasons going in to only his 3rd year.

3. I think Malcolm Butler is a flop waiting to happen. He's not fast and the Saints don't have the cover backers or safetys currently protect him.

4. Fire Loomis. We can get an accountant for like 70k.

last years draft net:
2 above average players: rankins/thomas
1 high snap player: bell
2 projects with good upside: onyemata/lasco
1 kicker who actually turned it around: lutz
0 total busts

I have faith in a deeper draft than last year.

Your average is low.

There once was a training camp star call Onome Ojo.

I'm going to be skeptical.
