I think we will take an OT with a last name starting with F.
There's like 4 to choose from

I've done a couple of the PFF mock draft simulators and it seems the best guys available when we typically pick are TE Brock Bowers, CB Cooper DeJean, DL Byron Murhpy, or T Troy Fautanu. I have been able to get one of these in every run, with Bowers seeming to be the guy that drops to me the most. Dallas Turner is not making it down to us, so you can do a slight reach for Jared Verse or Laiatu Latu or JC Latham.

Same here. Looks like my mocks as well. It's why this might be the best for a trade down in awhile of a few spots. Still get great quality.

I have been seeing JJ McCarthy creeping into the top 10, along with Jared Verse. If somehow 4 QBs go before us (Williams, Daniels, Maye, McCarthy), with Nabers, Harrison and Odunze (who have gone in every single mock I have done before our pick), that leaves the 7 best players available in positions of need for us and we are guaranteed to get one:

OT Joe Alt
DE Dallas Turner
OT Taliese Fuaga
CB Quinyon Mitchel
DL Byron Murphy
OT Taliese Fuaga
TE Brock Bowers

I know TE is not necessarily a need, but adding him solves not only our TE talent problem, but gives us our big body receiver that we don't currently have.

I would like to see us sign Young and Maddox to shore up DE and CB before the draft. If you think Penning is the LT of the future, maybe sign a G like Dalton Risner. If you think his future is at Guard, maybe you can get a guy like Donovan Smith to buy you a year or two at tackle. We all know the Saints like filling holes in FA so they don't have to go one way or another in FA

Draft all offensive and defensive line.

Hope a couple work out

If they do it’s a good draft

To me, Offensive Line is a fairly dire situation.

The biggest and most obvious need I can remember the Saints having in years (beyond QB).

Question marks at nearly every position except Center.

You just jinxed us into drafting a Center

Sad reflection of Loomis and scouting given Peat, Ruiz, McCoy, Penning, Ram were all 1st or 2nd round picks.

Why should we have any confidence they’ll get the right pick this time?

I would be okay with Quinyon Mitchell at 14 if we can’t get the Marahon situation figured out

Adebo might demand a lot of money after this season

DT/Run Stopper - Roach was by far our best run stopper last year. We need a big clogger in the middle desperately. This should probably be our FA spend item, since it's generally a lower cost position

Losing our #4 DT does not make this a tier 1st priority lol

Id like to draft one in the 3rd-4th round where a good one should drop down. But we need a pick.

I think we take a tackle but if the big three receivers are off the board, I would t mind Brian Thomas. He’d fit in well with our other two receivers.

As long as they quit trying to find "diamonds in the rough" in the first round...

You can never have to many quality CB's

Even if the work things out with Lattimore he's been nicked up the last few season and missed time and Taylor is still very much a work in progress and you're right about Adebo. Mitchell is going to be a special player, but IMO he'll be gone by 14.

We were at Texas's Pro Day. Apparently we were getting a good look at Byron Murphy and T’Vondre Sweat.

Murphy is my sleeper pick at 14

Might have taken a look at Christian Jones The tackle from Texas also.

He also is at the Senior bowl.

Not sure what round he's projected to go in.

Same here. Could be the making of a dominant Dline.
Also a really big fan of Latu. 18-20 pick could get him.

Run to the podium with whoever is left between Fashanu or Fuaga

Then BPA on DL or WR in Round 2
