Dorial Green-Beckham a viable 2nd round option?

Assuming we go defense in first round. Could DGB be that all around receiver that we need? Alshon Jeffery type player.

I mean they both have risks with them but it's hard to call. Williams is one of the most gifted receivers I've ever seen, DGB is serious too though.

I bet we go Defense and OLine all day long, but with a closing window, you probably need to take more risks to try and land a homerun guy. Maybe DGB does fall and we can steal him late.

He seems like a similar situation to Josh Gordon. Do you think Josh Gordon was worth a 2nd round pick?
In Gordon's two years in college and his 3 years in the NFL he has been suspended 4 times and arrested once...
Doesn't seem like that type of player is worth a 2nd round draft pick.
Green-Beckham was arrested and suspended for 2 games as a freshman for drugs, he was arrested again just a year ago, and then he was involved in a situation that involved a physical altercation with a woman. That baggage isn't worth a draft pick much less a 2nd rounder.

He is not a Payton player. We have already had our fair share of problems with WRs who have trouble off the field. I'll pass.

With the locker room issues this year and having to cut a draft pick midseason because of poor character I think they steer clear of potential problems this draft.
