Based on his performance this year he should've been fired after Week 10. The way they kept pissing away leads at the end of games was devastating.

Does he deserve to keep his job at the end of the season? I say no. Will he? Probably.

esp coaches for DL, secondary, and LB before we get another DC.

Joe Vitt is a great coach. To be honest we haven't had much talent at LB, would hate to see him hit the road because players just aren't cutting it. It is the NFL though, great coaches lose their jobs every year.

My thing is, when was the last time we had good LB play? 2009? Even then it wasn't a strong point. It's all great to say he is a great coach, but the man has had like a hundred different LB's come in and none have played at an elite level. If he is a great coach, at least one of these guys should have developed into a good LB.

Saints had a remarkable LB corps with Vilma and Fujita. Only one that was on the low-end was Shanle, mostly due to age, not that he wasn't a pretty good player. He was a player we picked up at the end of his career.

But we haven't drafted at LB at all hardly. Our LB corps is made up of free agent LBs that came from 4-3 defenses, right? Just saying, its an area that has been woefully ignored, especially in the draft. Who knows where the decision came to run with these LBs? It could have been Vitt for all we know. My confidence in the current regime to make good decisions about current personnel has been somewhat diminished after last year's debacle with Charles Brown and this year's nonsense with the players.

Defense wasn't the problem with year. Our Offense was inept

Really, looked like solid seesaw defense offense problems all year, to me.

Since 2009 which LB besides Lofton have we had that wasn't just spare parts on a roster? Notice those guys aren't developing into anything when/if they go somewhere else.

The Saints defense has nothing to do with the DC. There is no talent on that unit. Nothing but a bunch of lazy, careless, no effort check collectors.
