It took you 14 posts before you gave me those numbers. Your previous 13 posts were volatile and didn't provide the info to adequately answer the original question.

After some self-reflection, I did get defensive and made some inflammatory remarks.

Maybe you could use some self-reflection so that it doesn't take you 14 posts to answer a question appropriately next time.

Cutting him will cost $3.1mil of cap
Keeping him will cost $135K more than that
Cutting him would qualify as a Saints of old boneheaded decision.

No story here, move on

but for the next 3 yrs, he's replaced with a guy that only costs 1-1.5 mill.... you can't tell me that's not a smart cap move.

We can when you can predict that said new punter doesn't cost us more games than Morestead.

For all the idiots that have to have it spelled out, of course it means the Saints would also need to get a new punter as well.
why would you want to replace a pro bowl kicker? He doesn't cost THAT much

Two seconds of Google would have given you all the info you needed. Or maybe actually watching the games and not being a reactionary titty baby.

As far as I'm concerned, I appropriately answered it with my first post.

Your boy has no reason to leave Arizona for equal money, and probably wouldn't want to come to an organization that has shown will cut him if he gets too good.

"Boy the stupidity is really coming out early this offseason."

If you think that response was appropriate and/or answered my question, you are a reflection of what is wrong with society.

Right, I'm the one with issues because you had no fricking clue what you were talking about and didn't bother putting the least effort into researching your thought. Did it ever dawn on you that everyone called your thought stupid because it was in fact stupid?

That's really beside the point which is you didn't bother to answer the question with useful information until WAYYYYYYY after your initial attacks.
