Do you see a style comparison of Deuce to Jeremy Hill?

Deuce being a bit more mean and speedy and hill being a bit heavier and power but very similar styles

Hill is a Ray Rice clone through and through.

I think Hill has breakaway speed and you might be seeking him short on that. His run against South Carolina in 2012 and the one against Auburn last year come to mind. He broke a couple tackles and then still outran a couple DBS for huge TDs

He does have it which is why I see a deuce style in him

Deuce ran a 4.41 at combine at 222lbs

I see more ricky williams than deuce. deuce was a glider, more along the lines of an eric dickerson.

Must disagree

To the OP all power backs with speed seem similar.

I've said before i think Hill will be a hit of the draft looking back.

you must have started watching the saints in 06, because deuce was a much different back in his early years. he himself compared his running style to eric dickerson.

I did post a question of whether we should look at drafting a power back like Deuce and go back to a power run game(not more run than pass per se, just have that more grind it out style when we do run).

The positives of that are Ingram is in his last year and not a power back, Thomas is hitting his 30s and not a power back, and it would make life make easier on Brees to have more short yardage situations and be huge for play action.

The reason not to is we may have a good young power back in Robinson.

I wouldn't completely rule it out, and I love the idea myself, but it seems unlikely.

Hill will be successful in the NFL. If we should or if we could is another story.

I don't really see the Deuce comparison though.

Hill is a glider too. Ricky had the short choppy steps, and change of direction was average.

I would love the Saints to draft Hill but I feel like he will get drafted somewhere between our 1st and 2nd picks
