You're gonna get shite for this, but I'm actually on board.

Would be an awesome pick to guide us through the end of the Brees era with more balance and potency.

We just have to spend literally every other pick on O-line and defense.

We also can't afford to miss on any other free agents.

If we are drafting LSU players, I would rather Beckwith or Tre White

We need a good LB.

We all love Craig. Great season. But he's been a mediocre player until this season and all our other guys are old/injured or terrible.

Need a Vilma. This team has struggled at LB for too long. It's contributing a lot to our poor pass D.

Need an athletic, do it all LB that can lead the D...tried and failed with Anthony. Let's bring in a coach/scout with a great history with LBs.

We could use a pass rusher too. Fournette would be cool though. I would be excited if it happened.

he's good in coverage, but he's not a game changer. he's slightly above average and has always been that when he plays.

Ellerbe is a game changer if he can stay healthy, but at this point that will never happen so the best role for him is to be a backup rotaiton guy (which at 2.5mil isnt half bad either)

We also wouldn't have any other picks to spend on o-line and defense because we would have had to spend half our draft plus future first round picks to move up and draft him.

It would be a monumentally bad idea. I have had enough of trading up in drafts to grab that one great piece and fricking up building out depth because we don't have draft picks.

I'm anticipating that we draft in the 10-15 pick range of round 1, and I think there's a chance he could still be on the board at that time.

I also would be opposed to giving up a king's ransom to move up and get him.

He's a top 10 pick at worst.

We need to sticky a draft Fournette thread so we don't have to this stupid shite pop up at least once a week until the draft.

He's likely going top 5. If we move up that far it better be for Adams or Peppers

People would hate this pick for some reason and I have no idea why.

As someone who is not a Saints fan, I really hope you do not pick Leonard Fournette. He's a superstar in the NFL and is being projected way too low in Mock's right now.

Shouldn't be a top five pick, imo. For all the versatility the elite projection at the next level isn't there.
