and hardly ever watched a game this year....

Yea......I guess from my season tickets in the dome, I can't see a thing.

Watch Bush one on one blocking and you will see he can't hold his ground.

Deuce doesnt play special teams. Hamilton is one of our best SP teams players.

also Hamilton has played all year. Deuce hasnt played since last year, when he looked to be a shell of his former self.

It's a spit in the face to Hamilton is they deactivate him.

If Hamilton is inactive for Deuce is dumb. Hamilton has been running better than Bell. And he's a beast on Special Teams.

Yes, Bush does sometimes do poorly against a bull-rush due to his size, but he does a better than average job.

He's almost always in the right spot, he tries really hard, he chips pretty well and he slides out easily on delays for screens.

People just want to bag on Bush for everything. Then when he does something awesome, they want to swallow his children.

I would rather have Deuce on the sideline and not playing than Rodney Leslie on the sideline and not playing. I've gotten like 10 phone calls about this already. If anything it has excited the shite out of a fanbase that was very concerned with a team that hasn't won in a month. The team and the fans needed this to get ready for tomorrow. I absolutely LOVE the move.

If you don't like the move or find it stupid you are looking at it from the wrong point of view. Let's get on the same page with this. This alone will guarantee the dome will be Rocking.

According to Saints beat reporter Jeff Duncan, free agent Deuce McAllister is training in hopes of playing in the NFL in 2010.

McAllister, who turned 31 last month, was out of the league in 2009, drawing no interest after his four-game StarCaps suspension was up. Perhaps the ultra-thin free agent tailback market will help him get a look this offseason

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet...

What's the possibility that Deuce will officially retire at the end of the year? I'm sure he wants to go out as a Saint.

This.

I'll just add that, if PT and his rib injury regresses during this game and we win, it's good to have a big back with zero recent wear and tear who knows the offense, the players, the coaches available going into next week as an emergency back...BEHIND Hamilton.

Saints need to run the rock in order to control the clock, to keep Brees from getting his head knocked off, etc. Good signing, IMO.
