I am not disputing that, it just made me laugh that you choose to refer to Cooks as soft considering the situation that Landry dropped the ball last night.

I don't think there is a dispute that Landry has better "hands" than Cooks. But, he does struggle with concentration issues from time-to-time (happens to the best of them) and will have a case of the drops mainly bc he tries to body too many passes.

Ok, should take a gander how many of those came on 3rd down and moved the chains.

Landry didn't finish in the top 20 of the NFL or AFC on 3rd down catches for a first in 2015.

Cooks finished 17th in the NFC with 13.

I know you don't want to do a hands comparison

Look, Landry has elite hands.

But Cooks has just 3 drops in his entire career. So while I'd give the edge to Landry, Cooks still has great hands

He is their punt returner (all pro) bc he has little ball skills and slow as molasses

He's their punt returner because he has an awesome first step and changes direction very well. What does that have to do with his deep ball abilities? Those same skills are the reason he's a good short yardage receiver...

Football Outsider advanced stats...ouch

Nfl players vote to determine top 100 players in the nfl. Pretty solid list considering they are peers and actually play against each other and whatnot. Guess who is absent from that list? Guess who is not?

Ideally, all players would do it. This year, the league says only 481 of them actually did. That’s 28.3 percent of all active players.

You mean the same list that had Graham not on the list one year and then top 10 the next?

But the players do some strange things, like putting Ravens receiver Jacoby Jones higher on the list than Seahawks receiver Percy Harvin. And when we pointed that out on Friday, Eagles linebacker Connor Barwin said via Twitter, “[E]veryone knows no players actually vote for who’s on that list right?” Our buddy Pat McAfee, who punts for the Colts, chimed in that he “[l]ove[s] this tweet.”

This is worse than your pro bowl crap.

Keep them coming. You've been basically wrong about everything you've posted so far.

Keep showing me stats that show that Cooks is on one of best passing offenses this decade. I get it. He has a hall of fame qb. I get that. But if you would prefer cooks on your team opposed to Landry I truly believe you are delusional. I guess cooks is better than Dez Bryant bc the stats say so also

if anything that shows how a system and stats can influence decisions and even with that cooks is an after thought.
All you did was prove my point with Graham comparison. Thanks

No, it shows you don't know wtf you're talking about. Guess what, it isn't even a top 100 list.

If anything, it shows why popularity ballots are idiotic, yet it is all you have....

Lets look at it this way. Cooks would disappear into oblivion on the Miami roster. Tannehil could never get him the ball and he would never be as aggressive as jarvis needs to be to win balls.

When's the last time he had a healthy year with a healthy QB?

Dez was injured in the first game last season. The year before, he put up the numbers I posted.

You must watch a TON of NFL football.

He'd actually greatly benefit from the shorter route system, but the Saints have guys like Snead, Thomas, Fleener, Ingram, and Cadet to take that role in the offense.

Landry doesn't have the deep ability. Still a great receiver, but it isn't something he'll ever be able to do. Other players in Miami have shown this ability.

Landry is in the perfect system for his skillset.

You honestly think landry wouldn't thrive more in Saints or Patriots offense? You serious Clark?

The Saints and Pats don't run similar offenses.

Landry would absolutely kill in the Patriots offense.

Miami's offense is admittedly built around Landry. Tannehil simply cannot get it done

Landry would have way less receptions for the Saints. Not really a question. he wouldn't have your NFL record.

He may get more TDs, but we are way more vertical than most people realize.

Don't need to look much further than his stats bw soph and junior yr at LSU to look what a dif in qb play can make. Fairly certain jarvis caught more than 5yd outs for us
