I really like Drew Brees and appreciate all that he represents for the Saints, but defenses continue to squeeze the middle, intermediate routes. Sideline routes and deep routes are not feared and defended and tight coverage across the board on short routes.

He led the NFL in deep accuracy last year.

Seems like a wr problem more than a brees problem.

It hasn't really been our game to run sideline plays for the last 4 years or so. It's been a heavy heavy heavy dose of rbs and te with most of our deeper passes to WRs on crossing or down the seam in the slot. I miss the days of the back shoulder throw and catch that we did so well from 09-11

Your right but they love CP's slow lumbering 10 years to develop running plays.
