Below are just some prospects at positions we are all interested in. I can list some other positions if wanted.

Looking at depth, I'm kind of liking going WR/EDGE with the first two picks. If Gregory and Harold are gone, and if DGB or Strong is there, I think you have to go something like: Jaelen Strong and then Kikaha with a 3rd rounder.

DE/OLB
Randy Gregory
Owamagbe Odighizuwa
Eli Harold
Preston Smith
Danielle Hunter
Nate Orchard
Lorenzo Mauldin
Hau'oli Kikaha

WR
Dorial Green Beckham
Jaelen Strong
Devin Smith
Rashad Greene
Sammie Coates
Devin Funchess
Tyler Lockett
Chris Conley
Tre McBride

DT

Eddie Goldman
Jordan Phillips
Carl Davis
Grady Jarrett
Michael Bennett
Xavier Cooper

Offensive Line
La'el Collins
AJ Cann
Ali Marpet
Tre Jackson
Mitch Morse
John Miller
Arie Kouandjio

CB
Jalen Collins
Ronald Darby
Eric Rowe
Quinten Rollins
D'Joun Smith
PJ Williams
Josh Shaw
Ifo Ekpre Olomu

TE
Maxx Williams
Clive Walford
Jeff Heuerman

ILB
Eric Kendricks
Benardrick McKinney
Denzel Perryman
Paul Dawson

QB
Brett Hudnley
Bryce Petty
Garrett Grayson

we add a 3rd round G... our line is stacked... might as well complete the job.

I really like Perryman still. Think he can be a backup this year, learn behind ellerbe... then maybe play with Anthony. Cut ellerbe after year assuming he doesn't ball out of his mind this year.

Carl Davis is a DL prospect maybe worth watching.

Lots of guys there I like. We could do a lot to make up for last night if the chips fall right today.

All things being equal, I would rather wait until the 5th for a OG, but its all about value, obviously.

I kind of like the idea of either

Jaelen Strong
Hau'oli Kikaha
Ifo Ekpre Olomu

or

Eli Harold
AJ Cann
Chris Conley

though. Some combination.

I wouldn't be surprised if we pick up Petty if he's still around in the 3rd.

If we go WR, I think we go Devin Smith since his specialty is the deep ball and we need a guy to pop the top off with Stills gone

This is also assuming DGB is not on the saints radar bc of conduct issues.

Id add Darren Waller, WR, GA Tech to the mix as a dark horse round 3 candidate.

6'6 238 ran a 4.46 and had a 37in vert

Yea I like McKinney as well. Especially considering how versatile he is and his size + athleticism combo.

He has the size and athletic ability to play on the inside or on the outside. He could be a damn good edge player in the NFL.

Mike Ditka disagrees...

"With the tenth pick in the 1997 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select...Chris Naeole, Guard, University of Colorado."

I remember being excited about the prospects prior to the announcement. I was hoping they had mispronounced the name because I had no clue who he was. He became a long term starter but you would hope for more with the 10th pick.
