Could be a mid-to-high first round grade QB and CB on the board plus great depth at OL and DL when #12 rolls around. If there were ever a year to trade down for more Top 100 picks, this is it.

I'm not sure Brees will be playing next year...not for the Saints anyway. If they make this move, it almost certainly is a sign they can't get a reasonable extension done with Brees.

I would rather Conner Cook than Lynch. Lynch will be another Garrett Grayson. Hopefully they trade back if they are gonna seriously take a QB in the 1st rd

There's virtually no chance we draft a QB of Brees caliber.
We have to give him every opportunity to win while we have him.
If there is a QB on the board that presents "great" value, try to get a prince's ransom for him. The kings ransom was already paid twice in this draft

I would also like to point out that Peter King, while mocking us Rankins in his latest mock, has said he's heard rumblings of Lynch at 12.
It's really not as bad a pick as a lot of yall are making it out to be. He's not my #1 option, but I'd be on board if he is the pick.

They need to pick a direction to go in.
If you want/value Lynch, trade Brees to a team like the Jets or Broncos and get some value for him while you still can and free up tons of money.
If you think Brees and this team have another run or two in them, then get as many contributing pieces as you can.

I think the Saints are leaking the frick out of their "interest" in Lynch.
They want either someone to:
Move ahead of them, making 3 QBs get picked before 12, sliding defenders down.
or
Someone to trade with them to get them out of that spot.
