This is a textbook definition of projection.

Just because YOU view everything with a warped victimhood lens doesn’t mean everyone else does.

Taysom was AWESOME yesterday, why would that take away from what Dalton did managing the offense?

You DID realize that after Olave got hurt catching that TOUCHDOWN pass FROM DALTON our WR1 & WR2 were Trequan and KEITH KIRKWOOD, didn’t you?

I’d like to see a “healthy” Jameis get his shot…

I’d like to see Dalton get a shot with a healthy offense around him…

There’s only one “shot” to go around, so I’ll roll with the guy that doesn’t go deep into triple coverage on 3rd and 7 with a wide open Kamara or CGM dragging 10 yards deep on a sure-thing first down route.

But I’m just racist, so…

Dalton can manage the game like Drew did when he was in his later years.

Exactly my thoughts. Dalton is like a post prime Drew

But in all reality, once Jameis gets healthy, Dalton is back to riding the pine. So no point in discussing this.

Jameis is better when healthy.

I caught hell when I was defending Dalton weeks ago before he started. With two starts under his belt the tide has quickly changed. Said Dalton was the better option.

I could bump some threads that would embarrass people on here.

Do you watch the games? One of them engages the whole team while the other just tries to hit home runs.... you pick...

Lol. Dalton played the two worst defenses we've played all year and we put up 28 with him on the bench today.

That's not totally accurate.

Jameis faced the 20nd, 6th & 21st scoring defenses. Dalton faced the 14th & 31st.

Up next is Cincy with the 8th

I think you have to roll with Dalton as he has been able to keep the offense on track better than Winston. But this week should be the real test/tell for him, hopefully he gets some of his weapons back

Is there even really a decision at this point. Give the red headed caveman the ball and mix Taysom in about 10-12 plays at QB. Jameis to IR. Maybe he feels better in a month.

Rhule and the Panthers lost 11 of their last 12 games. The only win*?

13 total points in the first three quarters of ATL TB CAR games?

frickin embarrassing with this roster. Dalton looks like Joe Montana compared to Winston. The offense had ZERO rhythm with Winston

It's always black vs white QB, Dems vs Repubs. The truth hurts.

You realize you're talking about Andy Dalton as the other option, correct? He's never had major team success or won a playoff game, either

Funny you say that but Dalton got the bengals to the playoffs 5 years straight. Something Brees never accomplished in his career.

Not sure you follow football or not with that statement.

Its not even the points.

3rd down%:
Falcons: 4/13
Bucs: 4/13
Panthers: 5/13
Vikings: 4/10
Seahawks: 8/14

As a team, they have been more consistent with Dalton. that's not just on Winston. The playcalling isn't all homerun calls, its balanced.
