He has elite speed and range , lengthy and is great in zone. I wonder if we would place him at safety . I'm really hoping somehow we snag eddie Jackson

I know it's not a good mindset to have about a school but, when it comes to Alabama players, if they're not front 7, I'd pass on them.
Besides Landon Collins, most Bama DBs are average at best. Kirkpatrick is the next best one behind Collins IMO and he's a decent player.
Dee Millner is a FA and was a top 10 pick that was a bust, Mark Barron is a bust, the list goes on and on.
For all I know Humphrey is the next Darrelle Revis, it just seems those guys enter the draft as sure fire "must pick" players and they turn out to not be worth the hype.

If that many people see Humphrey going 11, who am I to disagree. Admittedly I haven't watched any tape of him at all; so my opinion goes solely off of not hearing his name much at Bama, not liking how Bama CB's seem to translate to the league, and loving Lattimore or Barnett way more than Humphrey. I'd welcome him and hope for the best if he's the choice. Sure is a lot of smoke for there not to be any sparks.

You never know what will transpire ahead of 11 to put certain players on the table at 11. However, in a vacuum, I think the Saints wan't to go DB with their first pick. Maybe fans/media disagree, but I think the Saints like their DL. We heard talk about Joe Haden during the season and Malcom Butler this offseason. The Saints basically have no reliable CBs on the roster. Assuming Lattimore is gone by 11 it comes down to who is #2 or maybe #3 Humphrey may be that guy if Conley isn't available (or they just like Humphrey better)

Games and breaking down tape are different beats though. I do see what you're saying though. He's not in my top 5 of players (realistically) of who I hope we get. Just saying, if he is the pick, it's a position of need and hopefully he translates well and gives us something our defense currently lacks. Time will tell.
