I think the Cowboys and Giants are the only potential teams he'd want to leave for. Both could be replacing coaches this year or next and have veteran QBs he could work with. I don't think Jerry wants to shite can Garrett, but I could see him doing something drastic like this to try to take advantage of Romo's last few years. And Payton would definitely be an upgrade. Him and Romo may could do some damage.

As far as the Saints go, there's almost zero chance we could replace him with a better--or even equal--coach. But we aren't doing a whole lot right now with him, so I'd listen to trade offers. But I think it'd have to be a Gruden-type trade to pull that trigger.

He'll never be in Dallas cause Jerrah wouldn't give up his beloved draft picks for him.

People that "speculate" this aren't football smart.

No one, with the possible exception of the idiot in Miami, is giving up anything for Payton.

The correct answer is 0.

You are kidding yourself if you dont think The colts would get a competent coach for Luck. Its not going to be something insane like first rounders but someone will give up a pick or 2 for him.

His weaknesses as a coach would be even more apparent elsewhere.

He can't coach or hire a DC for anything. He has been given free rein to make personnel decisions and he has done a poor job. To leave, he will want total control and no owner will want do that.

Payton without Brees will be scary thing.

In today's NFL, the most important thing is a franchise quarterback, followed by someone, usually a GM that understands personnel evaluation. The HC is the third-most important, unless he really can evaluate talent.

To be fair, while the correct answer would be O, yes, someone may give up a 3rd plus 1/2 a club sandwich or something.
