Not even close.

Considering where he was selected, however, he is one of the greatest draft steals of all time. Amazing career for Colston.

I mean he put up some very impressive numbers and honestly should have his jersey retired by the Saints but if he never made a pro bowl, there's no way he gets into the HOF.

Some WR's who may never get in
Andre Rison
Torry Holt
Steve Smith
Andre Johnson

all had much better careers than Colston.

Take out Jimmy Smith's uneventful first season, and compare the equal number of seasons as Colston.

In that period, he had 129 more receptions for 2,240 more yards. He is basically two full seasons better than Colston.

And nobody even remembers Jimmy Smith. He'll never sniff the HOF either, and that's not just because he's a POS. Marvin Harrison's (allegedly) a POS and he only had to wait a couple of years.

I agree with what Jon Gruden said. The best receiver in NFL history to never make the pro bowl. If there was ever an overachievers HOF he would get my vote.

No. He's 44th all time in receptions, 36th in TDs and 49th in receiving yards. He wasn't a showboat so he didn't get tons of media attention. Never made a pro bowl (which is a crime). And there are a bunch of guys ahead of him who are not in like Torry Holt, Reggie Wayne, Wes Welker, Brandon Marshall, Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, etc. etc.

Fitz is a lock dude. Pundits are obsessed with him.

None of these guys can be inducted until they've been out of the league for 5 years. Of course they're not in yet.

I didn't mean they were getting in. I was saying they have more catches/yards/touchdowns than Colston.

I think he is a Hall Of Famer what do you guys think.
I love me some Colston, but absolutely not. He never made a single pro bowl.
