I really wanted Ingram in 11. I was so, so mad about the Seattle loss and I (stupidly) blamed it on our lack of effective running game. I was still peeved at the perceived bust in Bush. I have never liked PT. Ingram looked good, and I didn't think our D was as in as bad of shape as it was.

I was sort of upset when we took Jordan. I knew he was good but I didn't understand the pick because he played a 3-4 DE in college and we ran a 4-3. I felt like we would have been better off taking Ingram.

..then we did

2006 - agreed (bush)

2007 - picked Meachem wanted Greg Olsen

2008 - Picked Sedrick Ellis wanted Keith Rivers

2009 - agreed (Jenkins) (also liked Ziggy Hood alot)

2010 - Okay with it ... wanted Jerry Huges picked before...also liked Daryl Washington and Brian Price but not enough to disagree with the Robinson pick

2011 - Jordan ABSOLUTELY - Ingram...I was excited but didn't expect it so I wasn't considering anyone else

2012 - thought Bruce Irvin would fall but damn you Pete Carroll I was okay with Hicks but also liked Jared Crick out of Nebraska

2013 - Wanted Jarvis Jones or Shariff Floyd

What does all this say....I know crap about talent evaluating. Now back to my real job

I was a leader on the Jarvis Jones bandwagon. I love when our team proves us wrong! We have a clear playmaker on the backend now. Jones only started 8 games. Vaccaro had the same number of sacks- 1.

I was pro Jones, for need.
I still think Reid is better, but not so much that i question the choosing of one over the other.
