We're no longer the best team on paper in the South.

What an understatement... This hasn't been the case since 2019. Won the div in 2020 but then Brady retired brees later that year

Well it seems the hot commodity in the nfl right now is young, and mostly unknown OC types. Throw 5 mil in their face and you may have a coach.

Loomis did that and landed Payton, but his safe move towards Allen after Payton left has me thinking he'd be more inclined to go the retread route.

Unless the move to Allen was an attempt to keep the nucleus together in case Payton changed his mind?

If DA fails I feel very confident Loomis moves away from Def HC and back to a OC head coach.

What Coach of quality would want to be married to Carr for another two years?

The same coach that is fine with tanking year 1 for a top 3 pick. Look at the Bengals and Zac Taylor.

ohnson. Ben Johnson.

If he's as highly sought after as he was last year we're gonna need a high pick to get him the qb he wants.

The Saints were DEFINITELY the most talented team in the NFC South for the last 2 seasons.

Atlanta has passed us now.

Tampa has won the division 3 straight years. Most talented is just your opinion, Tampa has the recent skins and obviously has enough players to win the division multiple years running (not an easy feat).
