Why does anyone care where Spiller is on the depth chart?

Do y'all think we're gonna be in a position where a scat back is most useful, but Payton is gonna look at the depth chart and go "oh, I wanted to put Spiller in on this play, but it looks like Hightower is next man up"?

I think the issue is he's way overpaid for his production making him a really bad signing.

Let's give him one healthy season before we make that call.

Our use of him once he was back was really strange though.

If we currently cut Spiller, there is a negative salary cap impact of $2.5 million. The dead money would be $7 million. If we trade him, there is a gain of $750,000. The dead money would be $3.75 million. His salary this year is $4.5 million. You don't pay a third down specialist this kind of money to touch the ball 5 to 10 times a game. Hightower is being paid $840,000 this year. A RB making Spiller money better damn run the ball between the tackles or just gtfo. Bring Spiller in on third down, how predictable is that going to be for opposing defences.

Not sure there is really that much tread left on the tires.

Finally, how often is Florio right with his projections a month before TC starts?

Florio did not make the Saints depth chart projection.

quote:

Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune noted Thursday on Twitter that it’s “[p]retty apparent” the running back rotation is Mark Ingram, Tim Hightower, and then Spiller.

Florio based the depth chart on Larry Holder's assessment. Reading comprehension is important. Maybe you meant: Finally, how often is Holder right with his projections a month before TC starts? Do you have any data supporting Florio's accuracy rate concerning depth charts for the other 31 teams over time. In this instance, he relied on a local beat writer. If he uses 31 other beat writers for depth chart assessment, and he cites those writers, then accuracy rating is from 32 different people. It now becomes how often are all 32 beat writers accurate. Reading comprehension is important and so is critical thinking.

Why do you think he had the procedure last year? The knee starts to swell when there is no cushion and its bone against bone. Don't be a bitch.

He's an idiot for discussing private medical information with you, and you're an idiot for posting it on a forum.

It's pretty common knowledge that he's had knee issues.

K

I guess that makes it okay for medical professional to violate HIPAA. No way your boy could possibly get in trouble for that.

Definitely worth the risk to share that information on a public forum. He should know better given the amount of guidance you get in that profession on the subject.

How was his blood pressure?

Is there a missing testicle or extra nipple in that chart? Not that there is anything wrong with those medical conditions.
