Perhaps the extended negotiating is a ploy to get Chase more reps in pre-season. Perhaps he has improved and Saints want to showcase him in an effort to trade and recoup draft picks. What's Chase's contract like? Is the theory feasible. Just throwing it out there. Don't get hostile dickbags.
