Based on what?

They may win the trust dispute (still unlikely imo), but that does not include any voting shares

The burden of proof for deeming him incompetent at the time of the change gets harder by the day, and has already been ruled in his favor too

The irrevocable trust takes control away from Benson, only allowing substitutions of equal value. It was created with the estate tax in mind. Still, non-voting shares so I don't really care who wins that onr

Understood. I never thought they'd win that

I was under the impression that the trust/ asset swap deal was still being debated. Has that been settled?

ETA: the battle I'm talking about is TB trying to revoke an irrevocable trust.

That is pretty irrelevant though

It only included non-voting shares of the Saints, so no decision making power comes with it

Basically, that is just about $$ and shouldn't impact Saints operations

If he had put voting shares in it, he wouldn't have control now. The head of the Trust would

Disagree.

That gets to the estate and who's gonna be liable for the estate taxes.

It is non-voting shares

It doesn't matter who ends up with it or if they sell it

Typical Yahoo story.

Take a bunch of "If's", Speculate the crap out of them, and build a hypothetical story where everything bad that can go wrong does in fact go wrong.

Payton and Drew are getting shipped to Miami in the offseason. Saints get Tannehill, Landry, and cash in return. Next playoff appearance is 2023.
No thanks. But they would have to at least throw Ndamukong Suh in there.
