this wreaks of jealousy and bitterness
they have swagger and are very physical
Cam is the only one that comes off as a douche to me

I met one of Kuechly's college friends last year and he said he's humble as shite and keeps his nose clean. Cam is annoying on the field and has a sordid history off the field, but he seems like he's done a lot of good since entering the league. I'm going to hate them due to being divisional opponents, but have to respect the style of play they have in bucking the trend of the NFL with run game and defense and doing so with success. I actually thought this thread was about that. The only thing that is truly annoying about them is the AU Cam bandwagoners on this site.

I just can't stand Cam.
No one else on that team rubs me the wrong way. But with them being a rival I don't like them as a team, and of course I want to see them lose. A compilation of Cam Newton first down celebrations wouldn't fit on YouTube.

A. everybody hates Cam but loved Graham when he was a douche on the field.
B. Cam is one of the coolest guys in the league and does a lot for childrens hospitals and the local community there but hey thats the new american way, its different and its better so lets hate it lol. Dumbarse

North Carolina is a GREAT state with a variety of types of people, from Lefty Lib academics to rural Southern folks living in remote regions, to military folks living on and near Fort Bragg. Before the Panthers were established, the Redskins were the local team.
Atlanta and its Falcons and Braves are the only teams I strongly dislike.

How anyone can watch Cam Newton pick up a 3rd and 2 with a 3 yard gain in the 1st quarter then run 20 more yards down the field and do his ridiculous 1st down celebration and not hate him is beyond me.

I actually don't mind Cam Newton. He's a genuinely good guy and he has fun. Certainly a hell of a lot more interesting than Russell Wilson or Andrew Luck. He shouldn't be criticized for actually appearing to enjoy football. I'm tired of the typical stoicism we get from quarterbacks these days.
Also, don't look now, but the Panthers might win the NFC South for the THIRD year in a row. No other team has ever won it twice in a row.
They may not be as good as their record says, but they definitely find a way to win even with big injuries at a ton of positions.
I don't like the Panthers, but I respect them. I still can't wait to see the Saints pulverize them in the Dome though.

Cam is the most overrated player in the league.

IMO, the model for a franchise type player should be someone in the same mold as brees or colston.... Just shut up, do your job, and go back to the huddle...
And I'm not really buying all the 'he does a ton for the community BS... I'd be willing to bet that he is railroaded into doing MOST of the things he does just so he can be portrayed as a 'good guy' so the franchise can make more money off him
