man this whole case sucks.
i don't think Hayes is a bad guy, i think Smith probably ran his mouth, and i think Richard Hernandez & Whipple are white trash thug wannabes who helped get Smith killed.
there's nothing but shades of gray in this case. certainly no justice for anyone.
