ADA says Hayes' passenger, O'Neal, will try to help his friend by taking the stand, but he can't change what he said during 'a media tour.'

why is that relevant to anything?

Well she was a witness that was shot by Hayes at the scene

Seems pretty relevant

So the clown running around with his shirt off was a friend of Smiths? Or just a random moron? And where did he come from

Her talking about how much her husband meant to her is relevant?

Also, surveillance videos from a number of places, including the Windsor Court hotel, will show that Billy Ceravolo was nowhere near scene.

Her speaking to Will's character and demeanor will absolutely be relevant in this case when it will be under attack by the defense

Does that really need an explanation?

Her speaking to what Will meant to her as a husband is completely irrelevant. Which is what the attorney alluded to.

And I am not sure the prosecution really wants to get into their married life......

Would be a softball for the defense to bring up the wife beating

You are assuming the jurors will be educated people that will only look at the facts and not let emotional plays by the attorneys change their way of thinking. That isnt always the case

Which is why you get on in front of it...it will 100% be brought up

I understand. Just think it is crazy for the prosecution to bring that up. Because the defense will then get to slam the wife beating incident out the park

The "beating" incident, which wasn't a beating, is 100% getting brought up either way. I think it is intelligent to get out in front of it and try to control it.

And that first part was your own words, was trying to trick you

Is it allowed to be brought up?
