Well, Mark Ingram looks set to miss about of month with a broken hand, so there ya go. Roster spot justified.

He's talking about how we were down to 1 RB in that game and he was even playing injured.

The Saints know what they're doing with their 53.

When Cadet got that pitch but they whistled it dead, I feel like he coulda got the first down and then some.
With Ingram out were gonna go full committee mode and prolly pass Cadet the ball some.
Lets see if he makes some plays and then judge his arse

Maybe you want to re-read what I said hoss.

Mostly but Nick Toon's still here. How we've rostered a WR with 4 career catches who doesn't help out on special teams I'm still trying to figure out.

Injuries. They happen... We'd be in a hole if one of our WRs went down with the way our offense is ran. I know Toon hasn't done much of anything in the league, but I'm confident he's better than Coleman and Tanner.

Maybe but the fact that he's only getting activated if the right WR gets hurt or through multiple injuries isn't a great sign in year 3.

I agree. It's a testament of the lack of depth we have at the position.

Brian Dixon hasn't seen the field either. Another activation due to lack of depth.

Meachum cost us 4 points yesterday.

PRob cost us 10 points yesterday.

It's hard to say that 2 players are a direct result of 14 points but frick man that is seriously the case.

Makes me believe we can still be elite but we need to go on a win-streak and fast.

But he's a rookie UDFA. Toon can't even get the ghost of Meachem off the field.

It's the versatility. Like Aaron Stecker. Can line up wide, return kicks, be used a multitude of ways.

A pity he's not really good at any of them.

the first 2 games from last year were real close too.

the ATL game was decided with about 45 seconds left on the clock and then the Bucs game was won on the last play by Hartley.

but no one seemed to care because we won. I think maybe there was more anxiety after the Bucs game though. People expected them to be a bad team but no one really saw ATL as a real dud last year until around mid season.

I can get past the ATL game because a lot of our games with them are close anyway. They were bound to get us sooner or later because they know us well.

the Cleveland game was disappointing because the team just looked flat coming out of the gate. Give CLE credit because they aren't that bad but that was a game we should have won.

I don't know if you can blame a few players though. I'm not big on outing one single player or even 2 or 3. This is a team game.
