I’d think this upcoming week’s results will dictate quite a bit as to whether we are buyers or sellers at the deadline.

If we can be buyers, I’d like it if the price is right - especially with Roby to IR.

Are they eating all their salary and not asking for any decent picks in return? If so, sure, why not.

Yeah, let’s give away draft picks to get more washed up LSU players.

Expensive and a position that can easily be drafted in rounds 2-4.

Seems to never be healthy so I'm sure the Saints will trade a future 1st

Saw some article (maybe a fan site) that mentioned cam Akers. I think I like his price tag better than hunt's

Doesn't look like the salary would be too much to deal with. With only 10 games left, the Saints would have cap hits for each as follows:
Hunt: $2.8M
Greedy: $780k

All depends on what they're asking for, but Hunt would be a little much w/ our cap. Greedy may be worth looking into with how banged up the secondary has been all year. Of course, he comes with his own injury concerns.

I guess being only a game or so out of the division lead means we should explore options, but I would not give up much of the future to try to salvage this season. We have mortgaged the future enough already.

Hunt is not as good as Kamara this year and only marginally better than Ingram so why waste any capital on a marginally better RB2

I'm not even sure he is healthy right now. He's a no in the Saints' current situation. Can't afford potential-type trades right now.

Legitimate need. We have very few Corners left.

The lets not take an LSU players sentiment is just as bad as lets take every LSU player sentiment. We need guys right now

Send them our 1st and 3rd in 2024 along with our 1st, 3rd and 4th in 2025 then sign him to a $100 Million extension.
Fits the Loomis profile.
He can play a year then be hurt for the next 3 years.

Do they need a superstar WR than has played 2 games in 2 years by chance?

No. We need to be trading away assets right now to build draft capital for the future once cap hell passes

Greedy would be a good acquisition if he can stay healthy. But him coming to the Saints would all but guarantee he won't stay healthy.

Close, but you would have to somehow bring the Eagles into the deal so they could have another go at Loomis.

Hunt no but Greedy could be a good buy for a late pick. Our CB room is really hurt right now. I've been thinking we need to add one at the deadline

A perfect replacement for MT's spot on the training table & bench.
