Adam Schefter tweet: Saints gave former Patriots CB Brandon Browner a three-year, $15 million deal that included $10 million guaranteed, per source.

Even better deal than the rumored 3 years 18 mil

I read the original post too fast and thought we gave him $15 mil per year. I almost had a heart attack.

$5m a year is not bad at all. Leadership and toughness is what this guy brings and is a pretty damn good 2nd option to have at db.

Does anybody think we still have a chance to get Tramon Williams?

Our secondary would be very nice and we could focus on LB in the draft.

Fact is, he'd cost 5mil at least. Not sure if we're able to afford that might be a good idea to bring prob back as our #3

Wow! $10 million guaranteed for a 30 year old guy that is one strike from suspension is steep. I would assume there are clauses to void the guarantee though.

Much better. From the initial reports I thought we overpaid.

I like it. Loved last month when he got all over Kanye's arse on twitter. Hilarious.

like i've said a bunch today, it's a 3-yaer deal

the "guaranteed" would be big b/c his signing bonus hit will be pretty big, as it's only got 3 years to pro-rate

i don't get why people are acting like it's a lot of money for a starting-caliber CB

This is called common sense. I'd really appreciate it if everyone else aquired it

It's not a bad deal at all. And the physicalness he can bring to this team is needed. I want to see him knock Roddy whites head off
