Doubt it. This OL will need to have improved greatly.

Cooks
Snead
Coleman
PS Guys
Camp Bodies

That was our WR depth heading into the draft. One injury and we were fricked. And I don't trust Coleman as a legit 3rd receiver.

There was a reason we brought Meachem in right before the draft. If we didn't get a receiver he would be our 3rd/4th.

He's a great WR. He's a faster Treadwell with slightly worse hands.

I like Brees as much as anyone, but he is past his prime. While he is still one of the best QB's in the league, I highly doubt he puts up his best year ever next year.

66/67 one handed catches tells me Ill take those slightly worse hands anyday. I dont trust Coleman. Hopefully he comes around this year and helps make this offense even better

why? favre put up his best season as a pro at 39 with a young group of talented receivers. brees is a much more elite passer than favre ever was.

Exactly. It's not even really a knock. I just don't think he had the ball thrown to him a lot so the drops he had in games were magnified.

Mike thomas will be in the conversation for OROY next year. I think right now he is 3rd most likely to win it.

1. Zeke - Behind that OL and in that O he should put up monster numbers.
2. Goff - Stacked team and media bias for position. He could win it for handing the ball to Gurley.
3. Thomas - No other rookie skill player will be put in a better situation to light up the league from day 1. Cooks gets doubled and Fleener hitting seams. Thomas will be a focus point with 1 on 1 matchups in an offense with an elite QB that can and will throw the football 35-45 times a game.

He'll be in the conversation but we all know Zeke's got that locked up

Damn that's gonna be scary

In a normal year Thomas would have a legitimate shot.

However this is sort of an anomaly. Teams with Probowl QB's and the best OL in the NFL usually dont have top 5 picks in the draft.

I didn't say it was impossible. But it's certainly improbable and unlikely.

I hope I'm wrong.
