Coworker heard from one of the trainers that he has a torn rotator cuff. Sure hope this is bad information..

It's pretty crazy how Brees has maintained his health while in New Orleans. Besides last year's oblique injury, he hasn't really had any major injury concern (unless I'm forgetting something.) Hope this isn't true though.

First, I don't think this is true.
However, if its true, I think Payton will roll with McCown still trying to eek out some wins.
That would be a massive mistake. Just roll with Grayson, let him take his lumps, be terrible, get that super high draft pick and build for the future.

I would actually be somewhat excited about this. See what he's got. If Brees is done for the year you'll know for sure if you have enough to work with in Grayson. If not we'll get a top pick anyway and can make a choice then.
Ok...maybe not "excited." Very interested. moreso.

Yeah. We generally find these things out pretty quickly. And it would probably be obvious.
