Sure, it's that easy, right? We'll just draft another first ballot hall of fame QB and we won't miss a beat. Those are everywhere and even draft-challenged teams like the saints can pick one up around the 5th round or so. Great plan.

Well, if that's what matters, why don't we get Favre to come play for us? He's a 1st ballot HOFamer. How bout Troy Aikman or Terry Bradshaw? Maybe we should call them.

You have to take age into consideration when shelling out major dough for a player. Not just the resume.

saints are suckers. Trade him and move forward. You can't win with him so why keep him? I am referring to the last four years, not before then. Recent data.

Did one those guys lead the league in passing last season while ending on an absolute tear?

He's a shell.

Nice sources, Timmy. You really went out on a limb there, but yet still struck out as usual.

I don't see why not. His asking price was very reasonable. The only question is how much guaranteed which is probably everything.

I would expect Drew Brees extension to be for two years of guaranteed salaries, and likely to include no-trade clause on below-market deal.

Yeah we're waiting on the announcement. They just don't announce a signing minutes after it happens

hmmm ok they are gonna do it so do it. I just know the team will be weak this year for sure and a couple more.

Maybe they can pull a Broncos and he can win one last SB 4 years from this season so 5 seasons
