Drew did not have a great year LAST YEAR.

Pretty damn great year if you ask me. He has set the bar pretty high for himself...
Did all that with no defense, no running game, and no head coach....

That's actually not a stretch to say he was underrated. In a year without any coaching, player suspended, and a contract hold out, the dude still threw for over 5100 yards and almost singlehandedly got his team to .500. I'd say that's pretty insane.

Agreed.
I also can remember probably 1/2 his interceptions where not his fault, and had a hell of a lot of dropped passes.

he'd be higher had they won more games, or had he shown he can be the ultimate coach and make Payton expendable....didn't work out that way

I agree but I think that's entirely unrealistic to expect of a player, even if it is Drew Brees.

I mean lookin back, you're right. Many of his picks weren't even his fault. Thinking back on how many close games we lost, DESPITE all of those distractions an handicaps, this team could have very easily been 9-7 instead of 7-9. I know it goes both ways, but I'd say way more of our losses could have been wins, than wins could have been losses

If my aunt had a penis, she'd be my uncle. Team had a bad year, Brees made some bad decisions. 11 is too low for him, regardless.

I love that Rodgers called him "incredible." Makes me feel relieved that at least some people give him the respect he deserves.

Well, Total Yards is only 1 stat

How about TD's too? I mean, over 5,100 yards isn't much to you I guess.

but recognize that their are other great QBs in the league as well

Agreed, but I don't think anyone was saying there isn't. There's a difference between the best QB to the best 4 to the best 5. You understand that, right?

This post wasn't that bad, but the best is how you rank Matt Ryan above Drew Brees in a 2 minute offense! You're a riot. I don't think there's a coach in the league (other than your own) who would pick Ryan over Brees.
