It was first reported in early 2010 by a player. That player recanted. So, someone right after the SB win started all of it.

There is no way the NFL could know about this shite without a rat. They even did an investigation after 09 and couldn't find out anything until 3 months ago. So it could very well be someone who got booted in the last 3 months.

Yes, after the 09 season(in 2010) a player come forward to the NFL. The NFL questioned other players and they denied it. The player that came forward then recanted what he said. The NFL knew it was going on, they just didn't have solid proof. Now they have the proof.
